JR Yotsuya Station has been newly renovated to become the first case example of an "ecoste," an energy saving train station promoted by the East Japan Railway Company. The station has incorporated a wide range of Panasonic's energy solutions in order to meet its target of reducing annual CO2 emissions by 40%.
