During the Games, the projection mapping event, "Coca-Cola Sochi Vlivaisya 3D show," was held every night using the wall of the Iceberg Skating Palace. The "Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2013" is one of the world's largest solar car races, and the Tokai University Challenge Center Light Power Project Solar Car Team entered this race. Panasonic has offered the team technological support since 2011. This year, the team faced many problems such as major changes in the racecar criteria, problems during the qualifying, and adverse weather to become one of the 10 teams of the 22 that finished the race.
